As you are aware, Vidyaranya Kannada Kuta's The Charitable Fund (also known as KKCF) has been in existence since the beginning of 1993, raising and maintaining funds for the charitable causes, identifying and prioritizing the non-profit/charitable organizations, which deserve to receive such funds, and disbursing the raised funds to three to five organizations. Both India-based as well as US-based organizations are considered. Funds are collected through donations by individuals and corporations during cultural functions organized for that specific purpose. In previous years, KKCFC has helped such organizations like Sumangali Sevashram, Mrichhakatika, Maharashtra Earthquake Relief Fund, Sheeladevi Vocational Center and Apna Ghar. Benefit Cultural Program: To raise money for the Charitable Fund for this year, the KKCF Committee has arranged a Grand Dance Performance by Shree Ramana Maharshi Academy for the Blind (SRMAB) on Sunday, October 5, 4 pm – 10 pm at The Hindu Temple of Greater Chicago, Lemont, IL. The program is co-sponsored by VKK Youth Group. The dances are performed by visually challenged members of SRMAB. You will be amazed to watch the mind blowing performance by this young energetic team. A Must See Performance! The tickets are priced as below: 1.
