The following persons were elected to serve on VKK's three standing committees for the year 2007 at the General Body Meeting held on November 18, 2006.

The following sub-committees have been created to assist Executive committee in carrying out its tasks. VKK members interested in being a part of any of these sub committees, should talk to a VKK Executive Committee member about their interest and availability.

This "VKK  Ad hoc committee 06-07" a.k.a  "Ad hoc committee" was created on Nov 18 2006. The following five members constitute this committee. The responsibilities of this committee are as follows:

1. This committee will scrutinize the current VKK constitution and recommend to the VKK General Body, amendments, additions to protect VKK, maintain community harmony and make clear guidelines for VKK office bearers.
2. This committee will not interfere with VKK executive committee's data to day functioning but will hold the Executive committee accountable for their actions deviating from the VKK constitution and report the same to the VKK General Body.
3. This committee will execute all motions passed in the Nov 18, 2006 VKK General Body Meeting with relation to AKKA membership and WKC 2008 meeting

The  "Ad hoc committee" will be effective until Dec 31, 2007. However, the members of this committee can dissolve the committee anytime before the Dec 31,2007 if the purpose for which it has been created is served.
